About Me.

Hailey Hanson is a Canadian Product Design student at Parsons School of Design (Class of 2022). A self described information sponge, Hailey fostered a love for creative problem solving from a young age. These interests grew throughout high school, as she majored in contemporary arts at Etobicoke School of the Arts, exploring sculpture, installation, and photography alongside the maths and sciences. Her collective passions for both art and science brought her to pursue a BFA in Product Design, where she continues to approach her work from a cross disciplinary perspective. Hailey seeks to design ethically and sustainable conscious objects that find their beauty through innovative play, materiality, and by engaging the user’s senses. Outside of her studies, she enjoys reading, playing guitar, knitting, skiing and scuba diving (when she gets the chance).
